About me
Hi, I'm Justina, a UX designer (former ballet soloist and business psychology graduate). After spending most of my life dancing, I shifted my focus to UX design. Starting ballet at 4 taught me discipline, creativity, and resilience—qualities I now bring to my work in design, where each project feels like a performance and every user interaction is a dance.
Growth and continuous improvement are at the core of everything I do. Whether on stage or in design, I'm always refining my skills and pushing boundaries.
As a dancer, I thrived on creative expression and storytelling, and now I bring that same passion into UX. Ballet taught me to research and find meaning of my characters, which aligns perfectly with user research and solving design problems. Creativity drives innovation, and I'm fully committed to it.
I completed my final year of business psychology this year, deepening my understanding of human behaviour and decision-making-enabling me to design solutions that balance user needs with business goals. UX design is my new stage, and I'm ready to make an impact!
My resumeWhen I am not working
When I'm not designing, I'm all about staying active. I still teach ballet classes now and then because I love sharing that passion. But since I'm no longer dancing full-time, I'm on the hunt for a new sport—maybe tennis? (Feel free to share ideas!).
Oh, and a big part of my life? My two cats, Buho and Simba. They're my constant companions and keep me on my toes.
I'm also really into writing and calligraphy. I just finished a calligraphy course, which was a dream of mine for ages. There's something magical about beautiful handwriting! And yes, I'm definitely a bookworm—I love diving into all kinds of books (and yes, I'm a Harry Potter fan too!). Reading is a huge part of my life.
I've recently moved to Barcelona (¡disfrutando mi vida aquí!), which has been a dream come true, and I'm busy learning Spanish. And coffee? Well, that's been a passion ever since I worked in a café when I was 16—so a good cup is non-negotiable!
Beyond all that, I love helping people—whether it's offering support to friends or running my very unofficial psychological sessions (no certification, just a lot of empathy and good advice!)
